Blua, our digital health ecosystem, is in continuous evolution. In 2024, its latest developments have been shaped by artificial intelligence (AI). The progressive integration of this technology into our processes has extended our coverage and reach, while also enhancing existing services.
Blua for everyone. Since 1 October, our digital prevention, diagnosis and care services have been made available to all Sanitas customers.
Projects like Mi Salud Genómica place Sanitas at the forefront of medical practice in Europe. Our commitment to preventive medicine —enabling more personalised, precise, and predictive treatments and approaches— will allow us to fulfil our purpose of delivering the best healthcare to as many people as possible. Advancing a model of medicine with a strong digital component, and maintaining our focus on the responsible use of medical data, are the foundations on which we are already building the medicine of the future.

Chequea tu salud
This service allows users to assess various aspects of their health online, without the need to travel: vital signs, hearing tests, cardiac screening, dermatological image assessment, and psychological evaluation.
Patients can always contact a doctor to receive more information about their results.

This feature helps prevent future injuries and enables the identification and treatment of symptoms affecting the spine, knees, ankles, hips, shoulders, and more.
It provides customers with a range of exercise routines for prevention, treatment, and physical rehabilitation, which can be followed online and practised daily.

Powered by AI, this virtual medical assistant offers accurate and fast online triage and preliminary diagnosis. It enables users to receive an initial assessment of their symptoms directly from their mobile device, along with personalised recommendations for next steps —whether that means a video consultation, an in-person appointment for further evaluation, or a visit to urgent care services.
Cuida tu mente
Mental health care has become both a social and corporate priority. This platform offers patients an initial psychological assessment, helping to evaluate their emotional wellbeing and determine whether a more in-depth evaluation may be appropriate.
Monitoriza tu salud
At Sanitas, we believe prevention is the most effective form of medicine. This tool provides detailed, real-time monitoring of each person’s health status. It analyses key health indicators such as blood pressure, heart rate, oxygen saturation, weight, blood glucose levels, physical activity, and sleep quality. These data are gathered using wearable devices such as fitness bands or smartwatches, and analysed using big data and AI technologies.
Farma refill
We have launched a new digital system that enables patients to renew their prescriptions without needing an appointment. This service, available via the Mi Sanitas app, responds to requests within a maximum of 24 hours—improving patients’ daily lives, especially those with chronic treatments.
Online medical specialties: dermatology
This new service provides dermatological care digitally, with no need to book an appointment. Patients complete a questionnaire and upload a photo of the skin concern via the app. With the support of AI and a medical team from Sanitas hospitals, they receive a report within three working days. If necessary, a follow-up in-person appointment is arranged.
SPS Programme
Our Health Promotion Service (SPS) enables us to care for our customers through two key platforms: 24/7 Medical Service and Sanitas Responde.
Both platforms now feature “Voice-to-Text Reports”, a tool that transforms spoken words into clinical reports, streamlining consultations and reducing the administrative burden on care teams.
